    Dear Parent/Family Member of Summer Rising Student:

    You should have recently received an email from the NYCDOE to complete a short online survey about Summer Rising. If you have completed the survey, I want to thank you.  Please ignore this message.

    If you have not yet completed the survey, there is still time! It should only take 10 minutes, and your responses will be kept private. Only researchers will see individual responses.

    Please see below for important information regarding Summer School 2022.

    The Long Island City High School building is closed over the summer due to ongoing construction projects.

    All students are to report to Aviation High School for their Summer School classes. Students who are signed up for Summer School classes have received notifications through PupilPath as well as tentative schedules on Monday, June 27, 2022 during their period 3 classes.

    Email and Phone messages have also been sent to the records on file notifying families.

    • The first day of Summer School 2022 is Tuesday, July 5, 2022
    • The last day of Summer School 2022 is Monday, August, 15, 2022
    • August Regents will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 and Wednesday, August 17, 2022

    Students who need to take Summer School must report to Aviation High School on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 8:00 AM to receive their updated schedule.

    PERIOD 1: 8:11 M - 9:45 AM
    PERIOD 2: 9:48 - 11:22 AM
    PERIOD 3: 11:25 AM - 12:59 PM
    PERIOD 4: 1:02 PM - 2:36 PM

    Please refer to your updated program for the time for which your student needs to report each and every day of Summer School.
