All DOE employees, students, families and visitors must complete a health screening before entering DOE facilities.
COVID-19 testing at Long Island City High School begins this week until end of school year. Information of the testing process is available in multiple languages.
NYC testing partners will begin to test a randomly selected group of staff and students in schools once per month. The number of children and staff to be tested each month will depend on the size of the school population.
In order for NYC testing partners to administer a COVID-19 test to your child, we need your consent. We strongly encourage you to sign and return the attached consent form with your child.
Additionally, students are also receiving the permission slip to take home on the days they are scheduled for in live in school instruction.
As we enter the beginning of a new and very different school year, we would like to assure you that we understand your concerns and are here to support you and your child/children. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Long Island City High School (LIC HS).
ALL DOE employees, visitors, and families must complete a health screening before entering DOE facilities. This health screening must be completed on each day of arrival. This health screening can also be completed online at https://healthscreening.schools.nyc. Upon entering the facility, if you have not completed the online health screening you will be asked to provide responses to the questions on paper.
The Health Screening Questionnaire is translated in several languages posted on the school website http://longislandcityhs.schoolwires.net:
