Tutoring Opportunities
JUNE 2023 REGENTS WEEK CATCH-UP ACADEMY
Students who are not scheduled for Regents are welcome to join us for Catch-Up Academy: an excellent opportunity for students to study for their upcoming Regents or do missing work to help improve their grade.
Two sessions are offered: 9 AM - 11 AM & 12 PM - 2 PM with a break to allow students to go to the cafeteria for lunch.
Subjects include:
Arts | Culinary & Tech | English | ENL | Phys Ed | Science | Social Studies | World Languages

Students will receive a certificate that they can show their parents as proof of participation each session.SPRING 2023 SATURDAY TUTORING
We are pleased to announce that we will be running our Saturday Academy where students can get tutoring support and Regents preparation in the following topics:
English | ENL | Math | Music | Science | Social Studies | Spanish
The Fall Saturday Academy will take place on the following Saturdays:

Each of the above Saturdays will have the following three separate sessions as follows:Session I: 8:15 AM - 9:25 AM
Session II: 9:30 AM - 10:40 AM
Session III: 10:45 AM - 11:55 AM
Students can either work on one subject, or choose three different topics to get extra help from our supportive teachers.You can also check the school calendar to determine what days the Saturday Academy will be offered!
Students will receive a certificate that they can show their parents and teachers as proof of participation each Saturday.SPRING 2023 AFTERSCHOOL HOMEWORK HELP TUTORING
We are pleased to announce that we will be running our Afterschool Homework Help Center again this Spring, where students can get tutoring support and Regents preparation in the following topics:
English | ENL | Math | Science | Social Studies | Spanish
This will take place in the school library on the 4th floor, and students are invited to join us on regular school days after their last class. The Homework Help Center will be available from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.Please see the school calendar each month to determine what days the HW Help Center will be available.
Students can either work on one subject, or choose different topics to get extra help from our supportive teachers. Peer tutors are also welcome!
Students will receive a certificate that they can show their parents and teachers as proof of participation each session.JANUARY 2023 REGENTS REVIEW & CATCH-UP ACADEMY
During the upcoming January Regents, before and after their Regents Exams, LICHS students are invited to participate in our Regents Review and Catch-Up Academy.
From January 24 to January 27 there are two sessions: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Subjects include: Art/Music | English | Mathematics | Physical Education | Science | Social Studies | World Languages.
Students are invited to come before or after their Regents, or even on days they do not have a scheduled Regents Exam to get assistance in completing assignments or tutoring to assist in their Regents exams.
Please note that the cut-off time to come to school for the 9 - 11 AM Session is 10:00 AM. Students who miss this cut-off time are invited to come back at 11:00 AM to have lunch in the cafeteria before the 12:00 - 2:00 PM session.
