Introduction:

 I became an educator so that I could use my academic background to touch the lives of students who can view me as a role model. I wanted my accomplishments to set an example, because I am the product of a bilingual education that I received from the New York City school system. As a graduate of L. D. Brandeis, a large public high school on the west side of Manhattan, I am aware of the challenges that students face. In my many years of experience as an educator, I have learned how to reach the needs of individual students, and I have discovered how to help parents who request information about their child's learning and development.
