Take the NYC School Survey for Long Island City High School

NYC School Survey: Your School. Your Child. Your Voice.

  • FAMILIES - Take the 2024 NYC School Survey

Every year, we ask all families to take the NYC School Survey. The survey gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.

We want to hear from you!

All Long Island City High School families and guardians are invited to go to NYCSchoolSurvey.org to access the survey starting on February 12. The 2024 NYC School Survey administration window is from February 12 and NOW EXTENDED to April 19.

Families and guardians can access the survey using the letter "f" followed by their student's nine-digit Student Identification (OSIS) Number. For example, if a student's OSIS Number is "123456789," a parent will access the survey by typing "f123456789."

A student's OSIS number can be found on their report card, student ID card, or in the family's NYCSA account.

Students will be using their own individual OSIS number to access the student survey, as directed by their teachers on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

We STRONGLY encourage you to complete this survey - every single response counts as we work to make our NYC Schools a better place for students, families, and community members. Although we encourage families to fill out the survey online, paper copies are available by request out of room 210.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to Ms. Ibrahim at aibrahim3@schools.nyc.gov or Ms. Liz at rliz3@schools.nyc.gov - they are happy to address any concerns or questions you may have.

Please note that the DOE determines eligibility for taking the school survey based on register records in the Fall term. Students and their families that enter after that time will not be eligible to take the survey this school year.
