OPEN HOUSE
Families that are interested in our school and want to learn more are welcome to come to our Open House to learn about our programs, curriculum, activities, and much more!
In-Person Open House Dates are Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 9:00 Am to 12:00 PM and Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please note that as per DOE policy, all visitors must show proof of at least one dose of vaccination to enter DOE buildings (click for more information).
We are also offering two Virtual Open House events: on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Please join us for the Virtual Parent Association (PA) meeting on Monday, October 17th at 5:30pm. The Parent Association Board has an open position if parents are interested. There will also be a Title 1 and mandated reporting presentation for parents. We would appreciate your feedback to provide workshops and resources that meet your needs by completing the survey below:

The Residency Questionnnaire (PDF) is intended to address the McKinney-Vento Act 42 U.S.C. 11435, and must be completed for each student. The information you provide is confidential. Your child will not be discriminated against based upon the information provided. You may submit the completed form to Ms. Downing in room 110 or emailed to cdownin@schools.nyc.gov.
Health Education letters (PDF) about classes that include skills and lessons on violence and injury prevention; emotional and mental health; nutrition and physical activity; tobacco, alcohol and other drugs; family health and sexuality; HIV/AIDS; and personal and consumer health.
New York City Department of Education's HIV/AIDS education program requires a Condom Availability Program (CAP) at public high schools that can help reinforce students' decision-making in and out of the health education classroom. According to state law, through CAP, students in grades 9-12 may request free condoms, medically accurate health information, and health referrals from trained school staff. More details in the CAP letter (PDF) including how to ask the school not to provide their adolescent with condoms from the parent, guardian, or custodian.
